In 2025, CNLU-GRC emerged as a notable state-level hub for gender justice, integrating research, capacity building, specialized education, dissemination and community outreach efforts. Across the year, 33 faculty members and external experts were onboarded into a dedicated resource pool to support sustained capacity-building and research activities. During its first year of operation, it fulfilled its mandate by conducting large-scale training sessions, organizing collaborative events and launching an elective course. It also began laying the groundwork for socio-legal research on policing, beginning with a pilot study.
